Degrees in zoology, social sciences and cultural approaches to conservation and resources use equip me to investigate problems and devise solutions that deliver conservation, support communities and respond to climate change. I can design and manage projects and programmes. I can support biodiversity surveys, lead protected area planning processes, facilitate governance approaches for conservation and resource use and support mitigation and adaptation responses to climate change. I can lead socio-economic assessments, buffer-zone planning processes and social and environmental impact assessments. I can advised on protected area management including patrol and monitoring and oversee infrastructure development and maintenance. I can advise on the design and delivery of environmental awareness campaigns and education centres. I can facilitate communities to design locally managed tourism developments and support pro-poor tourism approaches. |
